The NWT Riders Association was formed in 1999 with the objective of encouraging safe riding and fostering awareness of motorcycles in Yellowknife and other NWT communities. We are a non-brand-specific group of riders. Members have lots of fun and we have many plans and ideas for the season, including trips and Bar-b-q’s… why don't you join us?
Drop off your membership form at Ride Night, Wednesday’s, 7-8pm during the summer.

The NWTRA is proud to say we've supported:
NWT SPCA
Hay River Toy Run/Secret Santa
Motorcycle Ride For Dad (Prostate Cancer Awareness)
Side Door
World Laughter Day
YK Santa Claus Parades
Photos with Biker Claus (Santa's cousin)
We've partnered with NWT Tourism and the City of Yellowknife to help promote the ride north to motorcycle riders at events, trade shows and while we travel.
Before rider training was offered in Yellowknife, we held raffles for a few years to subsidize the Alberta Safety Council's training courses. We've also purchased instructional DVD's to help riders improve their skills and ran annual radio ads to promote driver awareness of motorcycles.
