The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Office is located on the Main Floor of the New Government Building in Yellowknife. Motorcycle Operators Manual is online or at your Driver & Vehicle Licensing Office.

2017 - 703, 524 in Yellowknife
2018 - 750 (531 in Yellowknife)
        - 1489 people held a Class 5/6 driver’s license in NWT.
2019 - 816 registered bikes , 614 in Yellowknife
        - 1481 people held a Class 5/6 driver’s license across the NWT (699 women!).

2020 - 431 Registered bikes in YK
2021 - 865 registered bikes in NWT, 472 in YK
2022 - 869 registered bikes in NWT, 472 in YK
2023 - 869 registered bikes in NWT, 477 in YK
​2024 - 882 registered bikes, 1896 licensed riders in NWT
