If you're a National and NWT HOG member, there's a meeting on Wednesday night.
HOG NWT Annual General Meeting this Friday, January 21st at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the Akaitcho Business Development Corporation boadroom located in the Deton Cho building in N'Dilo, on the main floor. We really need for all of you to join us, as we have a lot of things to decide on for the future of our local HOG chapter. I do believe that this year was a start at getting the chapter back on track, and I cannot help but look to the bright future of our chapter...but to be successful we need your input...the members!!!
- Tanya NWT Riders Association presents the Annual Charity Ride & Poker Run on September 11. All street-legal motorcycle riders and their passengers are welcome. Entrance fee is $20 and includes a poker hand with a new card at each stop. The player with the best hand chooses the charity to benefit. 3pm departure from the Co-Op, BarBQ to follow.
The First Annual NWT Chapter of the Motorcycle Ride For Dad kicks off with Pre-Registration and Auction on Saturday June 5. We'll be at the 'After 8' on Forrest Drive from 5-9pm with some amazing items donated by our generous sponsors up for auction. With a special visiting guest auctioneer! Stop by and get your registration taken care of early, pick up your ride bag and souvenir items and bid on some great gear, prints and other stuff!
Tha auction is open to everyone! www.motorcycleridefordad.org/nwt There has been a lot of misinformation about the new plates, bottom line is the plates will still be bear-shaped, BUT they'll be an inch wider and taller (previously 4x7, now 5x8), if you have an enclosed plate holder this will affect you. Also, if you have a personalized plate, it will cost you another $25 to get it again in the new format.
The AGM was held last night and some new Directors were welcomed to the Board. Minutes will be sent out shortly and the event dates have been updated on the main page. A reminder to past members to get their membership renewals in to stay in the loop.
The Annual General Meeting of the NWT Riders Association will be help on April 13 7-9pm at the Library Meeting Room. Memberships are due ($20) and there will be an election of officers as well as planning of events for the upcoming riding season. All riders of all makes of street-legal motorcycles are welcome.
Trails End Harley Davidson in Yellowi=knife will be holding an Open House on Saturday March 20 10-3pm.
There will be discounted prices and draws, and registration for HOG and Ride For Dad, come out and see what all the fun's about! |
